Private guides in Prague

Visiting Prague the first time as a tourist can be a little overwhelming! There’s just so much to see and do and at the peak time of the year Prague is packed with people. There’s a great information center in Old Town Square where you can get a free map and advice on the best places to see and where to find them. It’s totally possible to have a great experience and easily find the main attractions yourself, if you’re so inclined. You could also join one of the wide assortment of guided group tours — because Prague is so popular — you’re also bound to find one in your language. Almost all major tour companies offer English and German language tours for example. On these you will usually visit the main tourist attractions and learn the need-to-know information about the area in question.

Or you could try the road less travelled…. how about your very own private guide in Prague?

No one knows a destination quite like a local who has lived there their whole life. Withlocals Prague private guides can give you their insights and share their local knowledge with you, giving you an experience you’ll never forget. What are the benefits of Prague private guides? Discover the hidden gems, experience the local culture and visit places you would never see with Lonely Planet.

Private guides in Prague can get to know a little bit about you and your interests and take you to the kind of places that you’d really like to see — places which may not be in any guide book. It’s a personalized touch which can make your experience all the more authentic, and it can be a less formal, more relaxed atmosphere. You can ask questions too and know that they’ll be answered. With a guided tour you can also usually choose when to stop and eat if you’re hungry, or grab a cold drink or coffee at a café if you need a little get-up-and-go. If you’re going to be in the area a while it’s also a great way to get yourself up to speed on the cultural niceties, and Prague private guides can point out great restaurants, cafes and anything else you need for your stay. An experience you’ll never forget!

Adam Ellie

Private Gaudi Walking Tour: Sagrada Familia Skip The Line included

Ellie was excellent. She was extremely engaging, very friendly, and she offered a perspective of Barcelona that you otherwise would miss without a personal guide. Ellie also took the time to orient us to the city in general and everything she said was spot on. You shouldn’t miss the gothic quarter (the Barcelona history museum) or park Guell. Worth every penny and more!

1001 Nights: Oriental Storytelling & Private Dining

We met our host El Mehdi, in the Medina and followed him along the narrow, dark and winding streets of the old town to arrive at the C16th private rhiad we where would spend the evening. We venturex out to collect our main course from the back of a Hammam. Its traditional to take a 'tangier' (a sealed clay pot) to these huge ovens that heat the water, where they simmer the meat slowly for hours. I dined with Susan from Switzerland and Maria our other host, whilst listening to a storyteller weaving yarns about a King and his Minister. We were joined by Mehdi and spent a very enjoyable and sociable evening in these beautiful surroundingsa ....a really unusual evening....peeling back the layers to find the real Marrakesh. My kind of visit to Morroco!
