Fusion European Dinner with Hungarian Host
Having booked a short trip to Brussels, I looked online for touring interesting things to do and came across Csilla's listing, which seemed intriguing. Learn some cooking skills and eat a meal for less than we'd pay in a restaurant. It seemed worth including in our plans, so I sent off an enquiry - and got a positive reply in minutes.
That was the start of some great communication, offering us choices and checking that we knew how to get to her and her husband Daniel's lovely apartment.
On the day, Csilla's again texted to check on our progress and then sent her two boys down topside us to her home -wise move, as giving directions would have been difficult.
We started with drinks and snacks on the terrace, looking across Brussels into the sunset. The view alone was starting to justify the trip!
After a while, Csilla and Tricia went off to make the main course, including home made pasta, whilst Daniel and I chatted easily on the terrace.
When we sat down to eat, the two boys joined us and we had a great evening amongst new friends. Daniel and Csilla spoke perfect English (amongst other languages) and the boys are enthusiastic learners. Before we knew it, it was 10.15 and we needed to leave to catch the bus home.
The meal was very enjoyable; I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Administration and communication was excellent and Csilla couldn't do enough to please.
