"We had a wonderful experience exploring Hoi An with Thuy and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the city. Thuy is knowledgeable, engaging, and speaks excellent English, making it very easy to communicate and ask questions throughout the tour. She shared fascinating insights about Hoi An’s history, culture, local traditions, and everyday life in Vietnam, which made the experience much more meaningful than simply walking around the city. We were traveling with our two young children, and Thuy was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and helpful. She even assisted with our stroller and was very attentive to the children’s needs and moods throughout the tour. When the heat became a bit too much for the little ones, she kindly adapted the experience and joined us in a café, where she continued telling us about Hoi An, local life, and Vietnamese culture in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. What impressed us most was how flexible and caring she was. Rather than sticking rigidly to a plan, she made sure the tour worked for our family and that everyone felt comfortable. "Our 5 hour tour of Hoi An with Thuy was a great introduction to the special town. We were shown aspects of the town with explanations along with the history behind it which are lacking on any DIY attempt. It's one thing to simply go and see, it's a whole other deal when you go with someone like Thuy. A truly lovely 'local' lady who no doubt loves her town and it shows through her passion and genuine excitement to introduce it to others. If you want a great grounding of Hoi An, then Thuy is your lady!"

"My experience with Tam in Hoi An was incredible and I can't recommend him highly enough. Signed up for the 10 Tastings of Hoi An experience with him while visiting end of March. Communication ahead was excellent and had us meet at his mom's shop. Food there was fantastic and it was great to meet his mother and learn about the restaurant's history and day to day activities. From there we went to various places around Hoi An I never would have found myself with each being an exceptional experience. You could tell he was part of the community and liked by everyone where we stopped based on the interactions plus was able to share so much interesting information. The whole time felt more like hanging out with a friend instead of following a guide around who was just doing their job. We did a similar tour in Da Nang with a different guide where the experience was only so-so and made ours with Tam stand out so much more. Connected again two days later for a bike tour that included more delicious food, beautiful scenery, visit with a local family, peaceful coconut boat ride, and finished with a great boat ride for the monthly lantern festival. Every little detail was planned out and time with him was the highlight of our trip. Anyone visiting Hoi An should absolutely book the food and/or bike tours with Tam! "Tam was an excellent guide for our family of four including two young children. All the stops were interesting/tasty/varied and he was a goldmine of useful local information as well as kind and polite. We went later in the day and I’d recommend that from a temperature perspective as it’s easier to cope with the volume of food! It was a brilliant complement to a more brief food tour we did in Hanoi.
