"It's always fun to explore a city new to at least some of your traveling group, so doing things like either a guided walking or Hop On/Hop Off tour is a good starting point. For a mostly compact city such as Geneva, the guided walking tour was the way to go. Our hostess Adriana met us at a nearby park to start our food outing, which covered pastries, chocolate(!!!) and fondue as we navigated the city. We learned a lot about Switzerland broadly and its diversity across the French, German and Italian heritage, as well as the smallish group that makes up its fourth official language, Romansh. We also learned that Geneva is the workplace to tens of thousands of French that commute in from across the border each day. Absolutely recommend such a tour and with someone as knowledgable and pleasant as Adriana."

"We had a large group (8 people) that Adriana was able to accommodate. Because we got into Geneva late, we had limited shops available but Adriana was able to book us a private tasting at a store after closing. The store was amazing, and so was the chocolate! She then spent extra time with us walking around the city, eating gelato, and booking us a dinner reservation! She even brought us on the Lake Geneva boat to get a closer view of the mountains. We had the best time and would not have had half the knowledge we do without her!!"

"The tour was very good. Adriana spoke great English and was great with knowledge of Geneva. I would encourage future goers to go on the tour on a day besides Sunday as a lot of shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays. "
