"We had an outstanding day with Bruno! He is a true scholar of the country and culture. He helped us to craft an interesting itinerary in advance of our day together and went above and beyond to help with some suggestions for the rest of our travels. His knowledge of history and culture is tremendous and he is a joy to be with. We truly enjoyed our time together and highly recommend him!! He is prepared and made sure we were comfortable! A nice touch is that he provides connections for your phones and has a hotspot in the van. "

"Really enjoyed the tuk-tuk tour. Got to see a lot of the beautiful Sintra countryside. Rodrigo was great with his recommendations and helping me out when I fell and needed to go to a pharmacy. Recommend you see both the coastline and forest. Got a bonus to be dropped of at Cascais center to see a beautiful sunset from the beach."

"Stadia was incredible guide! She is extremely knowledgeable and was happy to customize our itinerary based on our interests. Highly recommend Stasia and will use her again when we come back to Lisbon."

"States was lovely and knowledgeable. The trip was a highlight of our gnome in Lisbon."

"We had a great day with Tiago! He was very laid back and dealt with us wanting to shop and explore along the way. He took us to lunch too and the food was excellent! "

"Within minutes of meeting Rodrigo, it felt less like we had hired a guide and more like a wonderfully fun local friend had decided to show us around for the day. The kind of friend who knows the history, remembers the best places to eat, answers every question you throw at him, and keeps everyone laughing along the way. Rodrigo blended so naturally into our group that the entire day felt easy and spontaneous, while still being thoughtfully guided. He shared history, cultural details, local stories, and personal perspectives without ever making the experience feel rehearsed. He also read the room beautifully, knowing when to tell us more, when to let us wander, and when to gather us back up for the next adventure. Behind all that fun, he was also incredibly attentive and reliable. His communication was clear and responsive before and during the tour, and he graciously accommodated our last-minute booking and the various wishes of our group. Whether we wanted to visit a particular site, try something local, change the pace, or ask yet another question, Rodrigo made it happen and ensured everyone was taken care of. We laughed a lot, learned a lot, ate well, and experienced Sintra and the surrounding area in a way that felt genuinely personal. Rodrigo effortlessly went above and beyond and it felt like a real cultural exchange. (He taught us about his home town in Sintra, we taught him the English word "squinty".) It simply felt like a great day out with someone who loves where he lives and is delighted to share it. We are so glad we found him and would happily spend another day, a week, or a whole road trip to Spain on a whim with him without thinking twice. Come curious, bring your sense of humor, and let Rodrigo take it from there."

"Rita was great - patient, easy going, and very knowledgeable. It was like taking a tour with a friend. I highly recommend this tour with Rita!"

"We had a fantastic day with Tiago exploring Sintra, the Moorish Castle, and the surrounding area. As a Lisbon local, he shared interesting history and insights that made each stop much more meaningful than just walking through on our own. One of the biggest advantages was avoiding the long lines and crowds, which allowed us to make the most of our day. We also enjoyed a great seaside lunch at a small seafood restaurant, including our first taste of Portuguese barnacles. Along the way, Tiago pointed out highlights of the coastline and surrounding towns, including Cascais, giving us a broader appreciation for the region. Throughout the day, we got to experience places and perspectives we probably would have missed on our own. If you want to see more than the typical tourist sites and get a genuine taste of the area, we highly recommend spending a day with Tiago."

"There is no better way than to experience Sintra area than in open air tuk tuk, And Rodrigo is such an awesome host, from the minute you book, he asks questions to make trip perfect . The tour was great, After getting to know us Rodrigo always gave us honest tips and suggestions where to go and what to skip, He dropped us off places and told us where to meet him, so we wouldn’t have to wait as it was very busy. Rodrigo took us to Pena castle, from multiple view points , with stops along the way. We stopped at several coastal areas for beautiful views and perfect place for a drink. We went to a nice cafe where Rodrigo treated us to his favorite local treats and coffeee . We then drove way up into the mountains through the forest to see a view of the area from this highest point in area. The air was so fresh, and a beautiful day. Rodrigo spent as much time with us ans we wanted, and never felt rushed. He wanted the day to feel special. Rodrigo is from Sintra, so this tour felt extra local with tales of him growing up there , and the tuk tuk experience is highly recommended We even booked a second tour the next day to explore further out (obidos, nazare and the caves!)"

"We truly had a great day with Stasea, who was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took us to many local highlights. We thought about trying to visit some of the areas on our own as we had a car, but I'm so glad we went with Stasea. She took out all of the guess work and made our journey so very comfortable and stress free. Highly recommended! "
