"Our tour with Hamid exceeded our expectations in every way, and our experience in Fes would have been much less meaningful without his expert guidance. We spent a peaceful morning walking through the Medina, visiting important landmarks and stopping by the ateliers of several artisans to learn more about their crafts. We learned so much about the history of the city and of Islam, about its culture and architecture, and about life there today. Hamid was engaging with both me and my 21 year old son, who has a strong interest in world history and culture. If you have an opportunity to tour Fes with Hamid, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!"

"We had an incredible tour of the Medina with Driss. He was born and raised in the medina and knows about every nook and cranny. He had great stories about each place we visited, and he even offered to help my daughter get the best instagram photos! Many people in the medina stop and say "hi" to him and then made sure we knew what a great person he was. We never felt pressured to buy things, we were interested in all he had to show and tell us, and he was a warm and generous host. He helped us find a driver for another trip we had planned and gave us some tips on things to see outside the medina. I would highly recommend him! (BTW - he speaks several languages fluently.)"

"We loved Fes, and a a significant part of that was Noureddine and this tour. He took time right away to get to know our kids and win them over, which goes a long way! He taught us many interesting things while keeping things in the right size nuggets for the whole family. He showed us some amazing things that we would never have found or seen on our own! And he was very generous with his time, sticking with us for longer than allotted to show us some things we really wanted to see. I highly recommend!"

"Hamid met us outside our Riad and was friendly from the get go. He has a lovely manner and was full of all sorts of tidbits of knowledge explaining lots about the culture and history and making us laugh often. We were so glad we went on a tour like this rather than a group tour as it was so much more personal and easier in the cramped alleyways of the Medina. "

"We had a female guide, which was fine, but its not like you book on withalocal you can pick one. They decide who is coming. We had Farida, who was born and raised in the Medina that showed us around. She was quick and tried to show us everything there is. A lot of the tour was quite obvious, but the tour name was hidden gems. We only had that expierence when she brought us to an old tea with herbs place, we would have never found ever. the rest was normal touristic stuff. like everywhere in the world, you have to listen to how great the leater is, and then you are followed around. Everytime you point at something, he is there to give the unique selling points. We had that in the hamman, the tannery, the linnen and the oil. Of course, we didnt bought anything. Was a great experience, she was very nice and helpfull. We ended the tour at our request with a bit of food, but that seemed to be a 3 course diner, half an hour prior to our foodtour! (with the same company booked) with withalocal. We saw a lot, was very informative, but i think there is more little gems to be found if i am honest. "

"I recently had an amazing day exploring Fes Medina with Driss, and I just have to share how special it was! From the moment we started, it felt more like hanging out with a friend than a tour guide. Driss is so knowledgeable and passionate about Fes; he opened my eyes to all the incredible history and culture woven into the city. Wandering through the market was a delight! The vibrant crafts and artisanal products really showcased local talent, and tasting the street food was definitely a highlight. Driss made me feel like a cherished guest rather than just a tourist, especially when we wrapped up the tour with a special tea made from five different herbs. Sipping that tea together felt like being invited into someone's home. If you’re looking to dive into the beauty of Fes, I can’t recommend this experience enough! It’s the perfect way to get to know the city and its treasures. Plus, Driss gave me some fantastic tips for exploring outside of Fes, too. Such an all-around great day!"
