"I can't say enough good things about our time with Deffery! From the time Deffery picked us up until he dropped us off 8 hours later he was engaged and entertaining. He took us to all of the places on our list plus a few extra places. It was an extremely hot day and my wife was having trouble with the heat and Deffery did everything he could to help elevate the issue by grabbing his car and picking us up between areas. He took us to a local restaurant that was amazing and did everything with a great attitude. He answered all of our crazy questions and gave us a lot of great information about the area. If we get back this way I will definitely use him again! "

"It was a very hot day; Deffrey came prepared with an air conditioned car and plenty of water. We first explored the inner city to maximize the coolness of the morning; street art, Chinese homes on stilts at the Jeti and temples. We then drove to the top of the mountain overlooking Penang to experience the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. We dined like locals at a local hawkers center. Deffrey then took us into the countryside to experience rural life in Penang. Every stop was it's own little adventure. He candidly shared insights into the cultures, religions and food, which are the fabric of Penang. We can't thank Deffrey enough for showing us his home!! An amazing tour not to be missed "

"From the word go, Deffrey was great to communicate with and tailored to our request of wanting to experience a more authentic, rural adventure of Penang Island. We could not have asked for more. The entire day from cycling through villages, rice paddies, monkeys, farms and coast line, exploring the Chinese fishing villages and experiencing local cafe culture, to our hike through Penang National Park to beautiful beaches and back was awesome! Deffrey is a great guy, warm and easy to be around. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Penang!"

"Deffrey is a brilliant guide, we had previously been to Penang, so had already seen some of the highlights, Deffrey was so flexible and accommodating, it also rained (extreme) so he rescheduled to get us to an indoor venue out of the worst of the weather, and waited until the cloud lifted so we got the view from Penang Hill. Lunch was fabulous, at a restaurant we probably would have overlooked. I would highly recommend Deffrey, and would definitely choose him as a guide if we return to Penang. Thank you Deffrey 😊 "

"Deffrey is a nice;knowledgeable and friendly tour guide:) Even though our tour schedule got delayed at first; but Deffrey makes sure that we can go to all the places as planned.A few wonderful highlights are definitely the cable car ride to Penang Hill where we get to enjoy the full view of the whole Penang as well as feeling the nice cold breeze💨while up on hill. Other places that I really enjoyed would be the Clan jetty where we get to see the entire sea view and learn more about their history & heritage.Also; the street arts located along the streets of Penang are a joy to marvel at as it makes the place much more vibrant & livelier.Overall; if you are a first timer coming to Penang and want a quick tour without a hassle;I would highly recommend Deffrey as your tour guide as he can make your day a delightful one😃👍⭐"
