"Our recent trip from Rome to Cancala with our tour guide, Matteo, was nothing short of spectacular. Mateo’s extensive passion for the region brought the rich history and vibrant culture of Cancala to life and gave as a nice brake from the big city. "Emanuele is a wonderful guide. We were in Rome for five nights, and we spent time with him for three of them. He showed us marvelous gems that were not crawling with tourists, and is super knowledgeable about Roman history and art. He planned special surprises for our 15 year old son -- including the Capuchin Crypt, a super-creepy crypt decorated with thousands of bones that is definitely worth a visit. He showed us a Michelangelo sculpture of Moses that is an absolute masterpiece in the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, and countless other surprises. He took great care of my 80 year old mother-in-law and made sure that she was not getting too tired on the walks. For part of the tour, we drove around Rome in his car, and we would park and get out and walk a bit, which was a great way to really experience more of the city. Highly recommended."
