"I chose Manuela as our Naples guide because of her knowledge of art, architecture, and archaeology. We chose extremely well: Manuela’s expertise shined as we followed her past or inside ancient, medieval, and Renaissance landmarks—from the remnants of the ancient Greek walls of Neapolis, to underground old Roman street-level ruins, to medieval and Renaissance churches, some still bearing signs of WWII damage. But she also cared for us like family, catering to our personal health issues, for example, with compassion and empathy, and making our 3-hour walking tour (on Christmas Eve, no less, the only day our itinerary permitted us to meet with her) a resounding and unforgettable success.
