Scopri il meglio di Cinque Terre alla maniera locale

"Very enjoyable day, learned so much. "

"Margherita was an absolute joy to spend the day with. A local with intimate knowledge and history of Cinque Terre. She was professional, personable, helpful and provided great communication before the tour. I have used tour guides in many countries and have never experienced anyone better."

"As you know our guide was Elizabeth Ferro. She waited for us outside the terminal and we walked to the train station. Elizabeth was great with detailed explanations of the 3 villages and the reasons for where they were. Elizabeth was kind and patient with each of us. We had the best guide we could have dreamed of."

"Margherita was a wealth of information on La Spezia and the coastal villages. Her years of experience and her passion for the country and agriculture are very apparent. Margherita was an excellent guide and I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed. "

"My husband and I did an 11 day Mediterranean cruise, and this tour was the highlight of the entire trip! Not only did we love the absolute charm of Cinque Terre, but Valeria was so knowledgeable and very kind. She was easy talk to, and took us all of the local spots to try the best focaccia, bruschetta, cheeses, wine, and gelato. We would have never known to go these places, without her. It was an absolutely perfect day, and worth every penny!"

"We had a wonderful day in Cinque Terre. Valeria was very warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and passionate about Cinque Terre and La Spezia. With that same spirit she showed us around, let us taste good food, told us stories about various places we visited and matched the whole experience to our interests and preferences we discussed in advance. Even when we had a slight change of plans last moment which required some flexibility regarding logistics and timing, she is the one who made sure it would be the best experience. And it was! I can recommend making a booking with her! "

"We to 3 of the 5 villages Learned about the history of monterossa, Vernazza, Manarola Amazing experience and great location for lunch "

"We travel often and do private/semi-private tours exclusively and sometimes it feels like we've seen them all in terms of the different styles of guides. Maggie was absolutely incredible and is hands down the best tour guide we've ever had. She was full of insights about the area that only true locals would know, she did a great job of pacing things, and she was a delight to tour with. If we could bring Maggie along to be our guide everywhere we travel, we absolutely would! Thank you so much for the fantastic tour Maggie...you are appreciated! -Evan and MacKenzie"

"We loved our tour! We learned so much and saw so much. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your stay in the Cinque Terre."

"We. Love. Mattia! Wow...what an amazing day we had! It started with a fun train ride, despite it having temporary mechanical troubles, causing it to stop mid-way for a bit. Obviously, NOT Mattia’s fault! This simply allowed him more time to fill us in on some of the history of what we were about to see. Upon arriving at our first stop, Monterosso, we got caught in a DELUGE of rain! 😂 It was actually kind of fun and, fortunately, very short lived. We happily waited it out under cover at a little seaside bistro where we got to enjoy a flight of four wines plus snacks. We then walked around for awhile taking in the sights of the beautiful little town then headed to our next stop, Vernazza. Again, we walked around enjoying the beauty this amazing part of the world has to offer. After a bit, we stopped and Mattia bought us a selection of delicious fried seafoods from a tiny storefront vendor. They were wrapped in little paper cones and meant (IMO) to be taken to the sea to sit awhile and just enjoy having a quiet moment watching the waves - which we did! Everywhere you looked you saw little cairns (~6”-12”) folks had made using the flat, smooth stones that completely covered the beach. Hundreds and hundreds of them! This might have been my favorite moment...Time to head to our last stop, Corniglia. You could either take the bus up the mountain to the city or the (somewhat arduous) switchback of stairs. We chose the stairs and once again were treated with seeing beautiful and colorful houses, shops, and panoramic views of the sea. All in all, it was a day my husband and I won’t soon forget! Touring with Mattia was perfect. Friendly and chatty as the day is long, insisted on paying for everything during the tour, and I CHALLENGE you to ask him a question about Italy - past or present - that he does not know the answer to!! Seriously. He has a near encyclopedic knowledge of history, art, the military, geography...It makes visiting an area infinitely better to do so with someone who can provide knowledge you wouldn’t otherwise get if doing it on your own. We have another tour with him tomorrow and I can’t wait! "
