"I booked the cooking experience for my wife, son and I. We wanted to do something different and a bit more local. Melina was fantastic from the start. Her communication was often and early and she did a good job choosing an experience for us. My wife and son are both vegetarians and my son a typical 12 year old. We spent about three hours with Melina at her kitchen and made some great appetizers, dinner items and then desert. Melina is passionate about clean and healthy cooking so we spent a lot of time talking about that, different regions that Greek food comes from and family!! We highly recommend this experience. "

"My wife and I enjoyed cooking with Melina. She provided detailed information so that our taxi driver could locate her cooking school in the Athens suburbs, where she greeted us with homemade lemonade and cherry drinks. We made 3 easy tasty dishes that we could make at home with ingredients that are commonly available. Spinach pie, a cheese roll, and a desert cousin of baklava that is easier to produce The dishes are vegetarian. The techniques Melina uses are home cooking friendly so we are likely to use them when on our own. Time passed quickly and we had our lunch and took leftovers home for dinner."

We made incredible dishes -- especially the spinach pie and tzatziki which we will repeat frequently once home. As vegetarians we’re always a bit hesitant to book food related things, but Melina gave us great options (we later learned, she even has a degree in vegan nutrition). She was also giving us restaurant tips and was all in all just perfect. Pro tip: do not eat lunch before this class 😂."
