"Joao was lovely and made walking through Montmartre such a wonderful experience for our family. We haven't received our pictures yet, but honestly that's just an added bonus. His company and the dialogue we shared as we walked through the city was exactly what we were looking for. I thought we would have more time during the actual tour (2 hours) to see the inside of Sacré-Cœur, but I don't think we missed out on anything. Had I known we wouldn't really be going inside during the tour, I wouldn't have made reservations for something across town so quickly after, but this was on me. I'd definitely recommend Joao to other families who want to see a different part of the city and friendly conversation. "

"We went as a family of 4, with 2 kids aged 4 and 7. We asked our 4 year old what he liked most about the tour and he said “macarons!” gelsomina was able to adjust our meeting spot and locations on the fly based on what we wanted to experience, and how hungry we were. We got a variety of basic to unique sweets, even some we had never heard of before. We liked that she focused on local establishments (not laduree or Pierre herme). She was also great for families, and understood how to balance walking with routing through a park and types of places to keep both kids and parents engaged in the cuisine. She introduced just enough history to engage our 7 year old. The pace of the tour was good, and didn’t feel like too much walking given our young kids, but if we were a group of all adults I’m sure she would have covered more ground. "

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour of Monmarte with Iza, who was warm, lively, super passionate about the history of culture of Monmarte, and was a wealth of recommendations of things to do in Paris. All of food tastings were delicious - the savoury tart was my favourite, and the kids (1 and 4) loved the carousel rides we squeezed in along the way. We highly recommend Iza. "

She was warm, friendly, personable and was great with our teenage daughters. She knew the restaurants and the staff and even other locals. "

She knew great little places to stop- not the average tourist destinations but unique experiences and photo locations that only a local would know. "We did this as a group of 11 for a bachelorette weekend and it was one of my favourite things we did the whole trip. Nella was a great guide, super knowledgeable and fun and very patient with us. The stops were all places we never would have found ourselves and the pastries were delicious. The pacing was good and we learned loads about the history of the Marais. Great format for a group.
