"We enjoyed a wonderful evening with Royston for the 10 tastings night tour at Joo Chiat. We anticipated a food tour, but this was so much more. Royston’s tour also included the history, architecture and the Peranakan culture of the area. The food was amazing and varied. Each dish had story. We were a party of seven, ages 16 to 55. There was more than enough food for everyone. Royston ensured everyone had a great time, showed up early and stayed late. He showed us how to use the bus by riding with us and then walked us to a metro train to help us get back to our hotel with no transfers needed. His service was over the top. "

"John is an amazing guide and truly knows the history and culture of Singapore. He spoke very clear English and was extremely helpful to any special requests that we had. He reached out to us before the tour to confirm locations and timing. As a food tour, I would recommend more information about the food as we only tasted five food dishes, and three drinks (all non-alcohol), not the implied number of 10 as the tour title suggested. I’m sure for some this meets all of their expectations however, as a food tour, I wanted more emphasis on the food, and while the history is interesting, it’s not the primary reason I’m taking the tour. "
