"We were fortunate to spend a beautiful sunny Sunday morning with Alexsandra in Wrackow. Our guide arrived very punctually and gave us such a warm welcome to her city. She had altered the route spontaneously so we could time the arrival of a parade through Wrackow (as it was Poland’s Constitution Day.) Alexsandra not only gave us a simplified history of Poland using visual aids she also warmly gave anecdotal stories of her childhood… visiting a Macdonalds for the first time after the fall of communism. Her warmth, humour and extensive knowledge was fantastic. Three hours was never going to be enough, time just flew. We were offered comfort breaks and she always checked in to see if we were ok with the pace. Highly recommend choosing Alexsandra for your tour. I would add you may want to do more tours. We didn’t even touch the Jewish Quarter so if you want to cover all of Krakow I would recommend doing two tours. Alexsandra did send us recommendations after we left her but it is worth noting that all areas can’t physically be covered in 3 hours. "

"We had a walk of Kraków with Bartek, with focus on Kraków during ww2, and experiences of the Jewish people of Krakov. The walk began in what is called Kraków Schindler factory museum, which provides a detailed progressive view of what the life in krakow was prior to, during and after the occupation by German army. Bartek was great walking us through the exhibitions and pointing out interesting, unique a artifacts and moving through the story. While we are generally familiar with the history of occupation, we found out many new things from Bartek. After the museum we followed on with a wonderful walk of Jewish ghetto and old Jewish neighborhood of Kraków. Bartek ensured the walk was interesting and engaging. We had a small but mixed group, 3 generations of same family, and everyone was able to see and learn things of interest, bartek catered very well to all 3 generations. Thank you Bartek! "

"I booked a custom 3 hour tour with Aleksandra. It's obvious that she not only knows a lot but cares deeply about what she's telling you. Both for the sake of her country and city but also for your sake, to make sure that you get the very best understanding. Her stories are not only informative but also insightful. I feel I know Poland a hundred times better now. Her English is great and there wasn't a single question left unanswered.
