"Chị Du was a truly wonderful guide and made our time in Huế so special. She was warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, and she shared fascinating details that felt tailored to our interests rather than scripted. Every question we asked was met engaging, funny, and fascinating answers. She really made the history come alive in a way that was both fun and easy to follow.
She was also incredibly patient and generous with her time, and spoke excellent English and Vietnamese to make sure everyone felt included and comfortable. On top of that, she was amazing at helping us take photos, pointing out great spots and making sure we captured the moment without ever feeling rushed.
The three hours flew by so quickly because the tour was both educational and genuinely enjoyable. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Huế, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly, highly recommend!!"

"We decided to book a guide at the last minute and felt incredibly lucky that Du (pronounced “You”, as we learned) was available that afternoon. I honestly can’t imagine a better guide if you want to absorb local history and culture from someone who grew up in the region. Du is engaging, easy to understand, and radiates wisdom beyond her years. Her depth of knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made the whole experience feel personal and memorable.
The Imperial City already feels like the set of a period drama, but Du’s storytelling and eye for detail truly brought it to life. After visiting the pagoda, she led us to a few tucked-away local eateries we never would have found on our own to share some of her favourite dishes. It was one of the best meals of our trip!
