"I booked my tour to CuChi Tunnels with Huyen and it was a great experience. Huyen filled the two hour trip from Saigon with loads of history specific to the site, as well and pointing out little details of surroundings along the way. On the trip back we even got a cafe sua da for refreshment. Huyens smile on her profile paints the perfect picture of her cheerful personality, as well as her kind and thoughtful vibe. "We absolutely loved our tour of Saigon with Huyen! I'm half-Vietamese and this was my first time visiting Saigon, where my mother is from. So it was important to me to have a private tour with a really personable and knowledgeable guide to show us around. I love that Withlocals allows you to choose your own guide, rather than being paired randomly with someone. As I was reading through the profiles and reviews, I knew I wanted a tour with Huyen and am so glad I chose her! She was so kind, fun, energetic, and funny! It really felt like we were just hanging out with a friend! She’s very knowledgeable and explained things to us so well about the culture and history of Vietnam. We love learning about history, but there can definitely be difficult things to hear about Vietnam’s history, particularly pertaining to the war. But Huyen presented things in a very factual manner and was careful to check in and ask if we were comfortable with her continuing to speak on certain things or not. I appreciated her always being very considerate throughout the tour, even making sure to find spots where we could sit for a bit or finding shade to stay cooler while she gave us backstory on the places we were visiting. I also appreciated how she worked with us beforehand to customize our tour to our interests and try to see as much as possible with the time we had. We loved our tour - I only wish we had booked a full day because the half-day went quick and it would have been so wonderful to have Huyen show us around even more parts of the city. Would not hesitate to book her again in the future and would highly recommend her!!"

"Thien is such an incredible guide!!!!!!! Absolutely book a tour with her if you’re ever in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon. She has a great grasp of English and she’s an incredible conversationalist. She’ll be able to answer any questions you might have about anything and everything in Vietnam. She’s also very funny and had us laughing throughout the day. We started the tour by adding a breakfast banh mi and cafe for coffee which were both very tasty. We then headed to the tunnels where she offered a very in depth explanation of the history behind the tunnels, she even got a guide to accompany us at the tunnels which accentuated the tour quite a bit.
