"We had a fantastic experience with Deegoda in Colombo. Our guide was friendly, funny, professional, and always on time. He shared a lot of interesting knowledge about the city, culture, and local life, and made the whole trip both relaxing and memorable.
We also felt we got excellent value for the money. The service was generous, well organized, and personal from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!"
"Dulshan was more than pleasant and had amazing knowledge to pass onto us regarding Sri Lanka, Buddhism and other subjects. He treated us to local delights and left us with a local and wonderful impression of Colombo. "
"Arriving on Queen Anne (it was its maiden visit to Columbo) we should perhaps have been more prepared for the changes to arrival location and timing before we arrived. To each change Dulshan responded very positively accommodating all of the changes promptly on every occasion.
Worse was to come, on the day, the ship could not berth as the departing ship was not ready to depart. The delay started at 2 hours and then progressed to 3 hours and throughout Dulshan changed timings even pushing back an afternoon tour to fit both tours in.
Finally we arrived and Dulshan delivered a wonderful tour, an excellent visit that will stay with us – what a star he is.
Simple recommendation - book him if you need a professional, relaxed and informed tour of Columbo."

Book! Dont hesitate!
"Dulshan was AMAZING! We were a group of 6 coworkers, all in Sri Lanka for business and 5 of us had been before. He showed us new parts of the city and tailored it to our interests (we specifically wanted to shop in Pettah market). He and the van driver were so friendly, warm and accommodating. If you’re debating which guide, don’t! Dulshan’s your guy. I’ll be seeing him again for a food tour next time I’m back in Colombo. Thanks Dulshan!"

Unforgettable day in Negombo
"Wow, what a day!
If you want to experience the real Negombo this is the tour for you. This tuk tuk tour has a bit of everything.
We has such a fun & exciting day with our tour guide & driver, Deegoda seeing various attractions in Negombo and then travelling in back lanes outside the city visiting several local industries. We saw traditional Negombo that the general tourist doesn’t get to see.
Thanks to Deegoda we now have a greater understanding of Buddhism and other religions while appreciating the architecture of historic churches and mosques.
Our tour included a variety of traditional, authentic foods and drinks.
We finished our tour with a 1.5hr tour on a traditional catamaran. While I was initially hesitant of including this option, we are so glad we did it. The weather was perfect. Watching the sailors showing their skills putting the sail up, while the sun was setting, and chatting about life with Deegoda was truely magical.
Deegoda is just the perfect guide. He is genuinely a kind, generous and wonderful person.
He has such a broad knowledge of food, plants, history & various cultures. His English is perfect and he kept us laughing all day.
This is a must do tour in Negombo.

"We were in Colombo for one day on our cruise and booked the city highlights and food experience combo tour with Deegoda. We had very pleasant communication with Deegoda in advance, during which we easily customized the tour to our personal wishes. Deegoda gave us a very warm welcome, even going so far as to bring flowers for my wife. In his particularly charming manner, he showed us all the highlights of this incredibly chaotic city in a very clear and easy to understand English. At the local market in Pettah, he kept showing us new types of fruit and vegetables and explaining them to us, which we all tried.
You notice at all times how much he loves his city and how much he wants to convey this feeling to his guests. The detours to local restaurants and food stalls were a special experience to discover and try the diverse cuisine. We found it extremely pleasant that Deegoda had no time restrictions; he was only satisfied when we had explored all the previously agreed stops, so in the end we were out for almost a whole day instead of the agreed 5 hours. We can highly recommend Deegoda as an absolutely top guide with his knowledgeable and lovely manner.

Fun day in Negombo
"I had such a fun day exploring Negombo with Deegoda in his tuktuk. Despite it being the end of my trip, where I had already tried a lot of things he managed to find some new foods for me. He is very engaging, a super guide, chatty and very informative. Seeing the back alleys of the more rural areas was fascinating and a very enjoyable end to my time in Sri Lanka. "
"We had a fantastic time with Deegoda in Colombo. He picked us up from our hotel in his tuk-tuk and was super friendly and enthusiastic about showing us around Colombo. He tailored the tour to the areas we had asked about. He knew so many people as we went around, so it was great to feel immersed in the hustle and bustle of a big city and see the real side of Colombo. We would 100% recommend booking time with Deegoda."
"Muditha was such a great Guy, with great English and knew so much about the History of Colombo. It was the perfect introduction to the Country on our first day. He went over and above to meet our needs. "
