"We did the Taste of Triana - Market & Tapas Experience with Elena. It was a fantastic experience with the best combination of food, wine and history. Elena had an intimate knowledge of the Triana Markets and so was able to show us around and order us tapas dishes, cheeses, salads and other local delicacies that we would never would have thought of ordering. She also introduced us to local wines and spirits that we had never experienced before. Elena’s personality was bubbly and gregarious - she had a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The experience with Elena was one of the best highlights of our visit to Seville. "

She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot.
