"Lia was a great host, she showed us all the best places in Busan. She even took us to two local food places to eat at where I tried moving octopus for the first time. It was so much fun learning about the city with her. "
"Lia was by far and away the very best With Locals guide we have had-anywhere.
Her South Korean food knowledge was excellent, her spoken English so good that we enjoyed laughter and humour along the way too.
Lia guided us through the markets, clearly knowing the vendors and being well liked by them all.
We learnt so much, had a fab time and dined on some superb sushi and grilled fish ( there was a huge choice of types of fish to eat and styles of service)
I would definitely recommend Lia as an outstanding guide and great person. "
"We loved this tour as we were able to try some Korean food that we otherwise probably would not have tried. Lia was a wonderful host who took us to hole on the wall places that we really enjoyed. Would highly recommend this tour!"
"Having a diet both gluten and lactose free ( not allergy), I thought I won't be able to eat anything on the street food tour and i was totally wrong. I had delicious kimchi mung beans pancakes, gimbap, rice punch, while the others in our group enjoyed many other local delicacies. Lisa was a wonderfull guide and made sure i had as well my share of tastings in this tour. I really appreciate the effort taken to find places where i can eat as well. The whole experience was really good and i wholeheartedly recommend it. "
"I'd highly recommend connecting with Lia. She made our time in Busan very special. She was kind and us around the Jagalchi Market for food and drinks. It was like hanging out with an old friend. Book this tour"
"Lia met us outside of the Jalachi Seafood Market and we were off Foodie Touring. Many of the vendors had aerated holding tanks chocked full of fresh Live Seafood. Her We saw fresh live Snow Crab, Lobsters, Red Snapper, Grouper, Sole, Flounder, Other Fish, Abalone, Conchs, Green Lipped Mussels, Scallops, Other Shellfish, Sea Cucumbers, Sea Squirt and a host of other delicacies. We settled on having Grilled Flounder and Lia led us to the Vendor who was “Best” in this category. They weighed it and came out to 1.5 Kg - a mighty big Dude. Fifteen minutes later the Grilled Flounder was served to us & Lia skillfully deboned that prize fish. Great Tasting Fish !!! Next she took us to a Dancing Shrimp Vendor - usually they are eaten raw, but we got ours steam / was Great ! Then she took us to a Vendor for Octopus, specifically small ones. Presto, two we picked, cleaned, cut up and served in a bowl. Problem was that the Tentacles were still tmoving all around. (Koreans like them raw / but not us.) We got them steamed and very, very tasty. All in All, it was an amazing Seafood Foodie Tour with Lia. She is wonderfully bilingual, knowledgeable and personable. You’ll Love her ! Don’t miss this Tour. Enjoy ………"
"Lia was amazing, super helpful and knowledgable about the area. She took us to some incredible spots around Jagalchi Market and the street food near by. Definitely worth doing if travelling to Busan! Thanks so much Lia! "
"I had a wonderful time in Busan with Dana. I was in Seoul and decided to check out the seaside for the day. I took an early train to Busan and Dana organized a custom tour for me based on my preferences for activities. She took care of everything..taxis, ticket to Blue Line Sky Capsule and also brought me a bag of her favorite Korean snacks for me to enjoy! Dana is very friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable and organized. I had a great time exploring Busan with Dana. Thank you for everything and I hope to return to Busan on another trip to Korea in the future! ❤️"
"Dama is a great guide, as a smart young woman making her life in Korea, she's got a unique window into the food and culture of Busan.
We ate a lot of things, had no issues with logistics, had good conversation, and even came home with leftovers for later. "
