"Before our tour with Ângelo, our knowledge of Portugals history was shamefully lacking. After spending a few hours with him, we really felt we had a great understanding of Portugal and especially Lisbon, from the time of the explorers , to the devastating earthquake, to present day. And Angelo’s pride in his country is apparent, as it should be. He showed us tricks for avoiding some of the hilly climbs, and brought us to a shop with the best Pastel de Natas in the city, warm from the oven and sprinkled with cinnamon. At the end (at our request), he brought us yo a wonderful local restaurant where we enjoyed traditional Portuguese food for lunch. And going above and beyond, he also messaged me afterwards with all sorts of recommendations and tips. We more than got our moneys worth.
