"Our family with 2 children (ages 9 & 12) had an amazing food tour with Maria. We tried almost everything Osaka has to offer and with some secret gems too. Maria was very informative about the history of Osaka also and shared many insights about Japanese culture. I would highly recommend Maria. "

She made sure to plan the tour so that our two non-seafood eaters could have a great time as well. She was also really flexible due to weather delays causing us to be a bit late to the start of the tour. We loved getting the context behind the different foods she chose and were all so full by the end of the night. This tour was a vacation highlight for the adult children of the group!

"We spent 3~4 hours with Maria today.
She took us on the train and subway, to Kuromon Ichiba Market, Osaka Castle, and showed us many other shops and food places on the way, dropping us off at a lovely Ramen place for lunch (Kamukura).
Maria is absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable, and she was very interactive and playful with our 3 children (14,13 & 8).
Would highly recommend Maria as a guide!"
"Best tour we’ve had using With Locals! We booked the Osaka food tour with Fay and had a wonderful time. Our group consisted of 2 adults and 6 teens with varying interests. Fay managed to find food that everyone was able to enjoy; even our picky eater and vegetarian! Fay has a friendly and welcoming personality which made talking with her very easy and engaging. "We booked Fay for two consecutive days while in Osaka as part of a cruise. She went above and beyond for us, meeting us at the port and guiding us through adding Japanese transit cards to our phones, on top of being a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The pacing of our days never felt rushed, but we saw the same things as some of the official cruise tours, in half the time and for half the price, while also getting a personalized experience and a private guide for the 4 of us rather than being stuck on a full day bus with a hundred other people.
Our only regret is that we can’t take Fay with us for the other stops on our cruise. ❤️"
