The tour itself was so interesting, adapted for our preferences and showed us things we wouldn't of noticed. He knows so much about Irish history, explained it very clearly and answered the many, many questions we had about Dublin, Irish history and modern Irish life. "

He engaged at our request on a wide range of off-the-cuff topics ranging from the Irish language and attitudes towards it through the last two centuries to the teaching of Irish mythology in schools and the nature of YA fiction in Ireland today. Cheerful and accommodating describe Derek, but only insufficiently. Highly recommended!"
