"I had two wonderful tours with Yula: one for the food and one for a custom itinerary around Yogyakarta. Both tours were amazing and as a solo, female traveler I really appreciated Yula’s caring and sweet behavior. She was knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, and did a really good job customizing everything to my requests. I highly recommend Yula for any tours she offers "

Food tour with locals in Malang
"We booked this tour to learn about local food. Yulaikha told us about the history and took us to places we ourselves would never go and tried food we would never order. And believe us, it was all very tasteful!!
Besides the food Yulaikha is a very nice, warm and sweet person. We will not forget you and made our visit to Yogjakarta special.
Lots of love ♥️♥️♥️

We had so much fun
"By hearing Yula’s stories and being able to ask her anything we really learned a lot more then just walking around ourselves. It was great making a friend for a day! Since we paid full price for our kids I rated the price-value a bit lower. That felt like a bit high as a family."

Funny and interesting food tour in Yogya
"We book at the very last minute our food tour. Nasir contacted us showing from the start a friendly and flexible attitude.
Together with his brother he took us to several different places, he proposed options adapting well and rapidly to our taste and preferences. It was also very interesting to chat with him and his brother about the different kind of food, culinary habits and cultural differences. All in all an interesting, funny and tasty evening with lots of laughter and good food. Grazie Nasir ! "

A day out with Yula
"We wanted to meet a special person from Yogyakarta to share with us a snippet of their life in a place so different from ours. Yula did just that! From the moment we met in the morning, our kids were in love with her and everything she shared with us about her life and city was so valuable to all of our experience in Indonesia. A kind and lovely person, with so much relevant and interesting information to share. The tour was a lot of fun!"
"Yulaikha embodies what it means to be guided by a local. Not only was she provided great historical and cultural insight, but was wonderful company. Thank you for a wonderful experience."
"Yula was, without a doubt, the highlight of our time in Yogyakarta. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
She took us far beyond the typical tourist spots and introduced us to truly local places we would never have found on our own. Along the way, she shared not only the rich history and culture of Yogyakarta in incredible detail, but also her own personal story, which made the experience even more meaningful and authentic.
Yula was incredibly flexible, thoughtful, and full of practical recommendations that helped us make the most of the rest of our trip. Every suggestion she gave turned out to be spot on.
Most importantly, she is such a warm, kind, and genuine person. By the end of the day, it felt like we had spent time with a friend rather than a guide. We genuinely hope to stay in touch and would absolutely book another tour with her the next time we’re in Indonesia.
If you’re visiting Yogyakarta, don’t hesitate to book Yula. She will make your trip richer, more authentic, and unforgettable. Highly, highly recommended!"
"Here's a friendly and natural review in English:
> We had a wonderful time on the street food tour with Yula! She was incredibly kind, caring, and attentive to all of us. Our children loved her from the very first moment, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family.
We got to taste many delicious local dishes and, along the way, Yula shared fascinating stories about the history and culture of Yogyakarta. It was the perfect combination of great food, local insights, and warm hospitality.
We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Yogyakarta. If we had stayed longer, we would definitely have joined her other city tours as well. Thank you, Yula, for such a memorable evening! 😊"
