We spent a full day with him exploring Old Delhi, including the alleys, markets and huvelis which were definitely off the beaten track, before heading on to Humayun’s tomb and New Delhi, taking in a South Indian restaurant in Connaught. We visited the temples of the major faiths and Viru provided a deep insight into each. We would never have been able to do so much in one day without him. Viru was also able to arrange our onward journey to Agra, together with an excellent colleague who took us to the Agra fort and incomparable Taj Mahal. A great guide with a great team.
