"We had just arrived in Budapest and our guide Réka kindly came to meet us at our hotel. She is a lovely English speaking student with an interest in history. We walked around and Réka pointed out historical buildings whilst giving us an opportunity to try different local foods at traditional restaurants. We started with Pöttyös, a snack treat from Réka’s childhood which reminded us a lot of something we have in Sweden too. Then we had traditional Goulash soup, Chicken Paprikash, stuffed cabbage, mixed vegetables and local beer. There was a lot of food as we then went on to have different cakes in a beautiful café and Lángos and Palinka shot. It was a great walk with happy chatty guide Réka. We highly recommend this tour to try out the tastes of Hungary in Budapest. "
