Then we returned (through pouring rain) to her house where we prepared and cooked the meal. We had very nice conversations with drinks and appetizers before the meal. While it was a very different evening than I expected, it was quite fun dining with locals and being able to chat about the city and France. The food was excellent and their views were some of the best in Lyon. And their dog was adorable."
