"My husband and I had an incredible private food tour in Dubrovnik with Karmen, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Every stop was excellent. We tried black risotto made with fresh squid ink for the first time, enjoyed amazing Croatian wines (especially Dingac), and had a sun-dried tomato tapenade with marinated anchovies that completely changed my mind about anchovies. We even went back the next day hoping to order them again but they were sold out. Karmen is warm, funny, full of personality, and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared so many interesting stories about Dubrovnik and life in Croatia, gave us fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay, and made the whole evening so much fun. We even ran into her the next day and ended up sitting and chatting! We couldn’t recommend Karmen more highly. If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic food tour with someone who truly loves what she does, this is it!!"

"I scheduled a private food and wine experience with Nico for my husband’s birthday. Nico was very prompt to respond to all of my questions and requests. He picked us up in front of cruise ship, took us to his family home that has been making their own wine and brandy for generations. His excitement and joy in sharing with us how his family started wine making, making olive oil was inspiring. It was so apparent to see how proud he was of his beautiful property. We ate figs from the fig trees, grapes, and other crops they use for everything they cook. He made us a very special lunch which he prepared early that morning and slowly cooked it for hours to serve us within an hour after our arrival. Between the homemade soup, bread, most delicious meal with fresh vegetables and salad, we could hardly move! Nico served several wines and brandy, he even had a birthday cake with a huge glowing candle. If you’re ever lucky enough to have an experience with Nico, you will not regret it. He was absolutely the best!! "
