What you can expect

** Available from Wednesday to Saturday **

On this private walking tour you'll discover how the early industrial age in Prague was prosperous and left remarkable buildings behind. Since the fall of communism, many buildings have become home to hip art galleries, cafes and design showrooms.

It’s impossible to cover all of them in one afternoon, that's why we'll explore a selection of some of my favorite spots together. Let me show you the hidden gems that locals love to visit. I’ll be happy to share tips about all the other places we won’t have time to visit. Feel free to ask any questions along the way.

This tour focuses on the Holešovice district and will start at the fair trade place, part of the National Gallery and possibly the most remarkable functionalist building in Prague. We’ll have a peek inside and discuss its history before heading to the former building of the Prague Electricity Company, now home to various art studios and galleries. After admiring work of art, we'll have a glass of wine.

Our next stop will be a former late 19th century slaughterhouse, that now turned into a market complex in which we’ll find an art gallery and a temple of contemporary circus hidden among Vietnamese stalls.

Get ready to stroll to the former industrial district of Holešovice and visit a couple of factories that turned into cultural places, including a design showroom featuring a great selection of Czech and European designers.

Finally we’ll hop on a tram that will take us to a former freight station in Žižkov. We’ll have a last beer in the middle of railway tracks.

This tour can be 100% personalized to your wishes, just get in touch!

I fell in love with Prague a few years ago and decided to settle here.
When I’m not busy working on a new illustration or art project, I spend a lot of time further exploring Prague; in a way my city is my main hobby! I’m passionate about Czech modern history and Prague’s incredibly diverse architecture. I also love hiking, dancing and cooking for people… and I spend a lot of time reading in cafes :)
I believe that if you need a guide, it’s to show you what’s hidden instead of the obvious touristic routes! I love helping guests discover things they would have otherwise missed..."
