What you can expect
Do you enjoy painting rocky hills dotted with ancient ruins, against the backdrop of a huge city crowned with mountains, all under the Mediterranean light? Well, I know where to take you!
Prior experience in watercolor is not necessary. Feel free to paint what you like, with individualized instruction.
This unique studio-to landscape workshop starts indoors with a lecture and a demonstration. My studio is located two steps from the interesting points of view of the city and of course the Acropolis of Athens. That is where we are going after the demo, when the workshop moves out, under the glorious Attica sky. I will both teach and demonstrate everything in flowing watercolor, followed by ample time for you to paint.
Once we are done we head to my favorite local family restaurant to look over your watercolors. We can carry on the discussion on art, Athens, or well, just about anything!
Be my guest as I order for you a one course lunch plus salad. You can choose between beer or a glass of wine.
I look forward to meeting you!

"I earned my first degree in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. I have briefly worked as a Scenic Painter in London before returning to Greece. My work as a visual artist has a profound connection to life in Athens, especially during the latest years of hardship.
In 2001 I completed my degree in Sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts. I practice both arts as well as Photography. In my figurative work, I work from memory and imagination. I have had two solo shows. In parallel to my artistic practice I have been teaching art since 1998.
Since 2014, as educator, I have specialized in visual literacy. I have been a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece since 1997. I speak Greek, English, Italian and just one or two words in German.
Join me for my painting workshop and lets enjoy the beauty of Greece together!"
