What you can expect

Enjoy a family friendly adventure in Barcelona and allow me to take you to a mythical place, the historical Parc del Laberint d'Horta.

Kickoff your journey with a couple of highlights. Make a quick stop at the Barcelona Velodrome, the track cycling venue for the 1992 Summer Olympics and the journalist building, built also for the 1992 Olympics.

Enter into fairytale-like sight as soon as you arrive at the Parc del Laberint d'Horta's, where every turn reveals a new hidden gem. Right at the entrance, you'll be greeted by the Palau Desvalls, built by the Desvalls family to welcome visits from kings of the times. This architectonical beauty it's definitely fit for a king!

The park itself extends for over 9 hectares and comprises a neoclassical park from the 18th century and a romantic garden from the 19th century. All around the park, you can also find numerous sculptures, some depicting motives of Greek mythology and others with folk motives and animals, as well as a number of fountains, springs, and pools.

The little ones will be enchanted by the stories and myths of various local kings like Fernando VII and Alfonso XIII, gods like Theseus, Eros, Danae, Ariadna, and mystic creatures like nimphs and muses.

Ready to get lost? Explore the main attraction of the park, the labyrinth! Venture inside and try to find the middle - the first one there wins!

The park also has a lovely picnic area, where you can take a peaceful break and enjoy some refreshments. The kids will have a playground right nearby to continue the fun!

When leaving the park, I'll take you to a hidden spot that offers an amazing view of the city, as well as to a beautiful building with a terraced garden on the flank of the mountain. On the way, you can also visit the Frida Kahlo garden.

Get some final tips & tricks plus family friendly recommendations for your stay in beautiful Barcelona.
Let me know how I can make this experience even more personalized, I can create it just for you and your family!

If you'd like to extend your adventure, I can also organize a hike to Mirador de la Magarola, a hidden and stunning viewing point inside Collserola park about 30 minutes away from Parc del Laberint.
