What you can expect

Did you know that Paris became the capital city of the most important musicians and painters at the beginning of the XX Century? Allow me to tell you all about this beautiful historical period.

I'm a Peruvian composer and pianist living and performing in Paris for the past 12 years. I've moved to Paris to perfect my composition techniques and to further develop my experience of live performance. It's my pleasure to go on a musical journey with you! We'll visit the best Parisian venues where historic events in music took place.

Let's start with a stroll along the avenue Montaigne, famous for flagship boutiques like Dior and take the metro to place de la Concorde. Next, we'll stroll through Rue Royale, pass the historical restaurant Maxim's and Ladurée to arrive at place de la Madeleine.

The Eglise de la Madeleine is a beautiful church where concerts take place almost every day. After that, we take Boulevard des Capucines and stop at the Olympia, a pop and rock music venue where Edith Piaf and the Beatles performed. Next, we'll pass Cafe de la Paix and admire its Second Empire architecture.

Once we arrive at the Opera Garnier, you have the choice of entering the building or to simply walk around and admire it. I will give historical aspects of its construction and acoustics that make them one of the best in the world.

During the tour, we'll have a relaxing break with traditional French coffee at a local cafe with the view to an Opera house. I'll tell you more about the places we have visited and will give you personal recommendations for your trip.

For the final stop, we'll visit the greatest music shops where musicians from around the world look for their instruments and scores. Let's admire the Art Deco of the historic Theatre des Champs Elysees, the first of its kind when it opened.

Feel free to give me a shout if there's anything you would like to add or change to this experience. I can always customize it for you!
