What you can expect

So you're finally visiting Madrid, and enjoy carrying your camera around? Why not add the best street photography techniques to your travel experience?

I will help you develop your own style, and with the right approach and guidance you can find your way towards improving your photos.

During this workshop you can choose to interact with the locals or observe from a distance. This workshop will provide you with helpful hints and tools that teach you how to overcome fear of photographing strangers. Yes, we all know it might get a little uncomfortable when you walk up close to a stranger to snap that one aweseome shot!

We will also discuss the best way to deal with the most typical situations. And while the technical details are always present (camera settings, lighting and composition), the main focus will be in capturing the moment, understanding what makes a good picture and becoming better street photographers.

Madrid is the perfect setting to practice and improve your street photography - the light, the people, and the architecture will inspire your work. I can help you find the most unique subjects and memorable moments.

No previous photography knowledge is necessary and you can even use a
mobile phone for capturing the images, although a camera with manual
modes is recommended.

Come and join me on a highly enjoyable experience! I can customize the workshop 100% to your wishes, just get in touch.

I was born and raised in Medellin, the city of eternal spring. After finishing my media and journalism studies, I arrived in Madrid nearly ten years ago and almost immediately fell in love with it. Its incredible cultural mixture, along with a rather mild weather for a European capital, have both captivated and encouraged me to settle down.
In my opinion, the best part of making conversation or having the chance to meet anyone would have to be skipping the small talk and being able to really make a connection. I love expressing myself through dance, especially afro-latin rhythms, which I combine with my other passion: Dj'ing. Through this, I can keep in contact with my roots, while sharing it with the world."
