What you can expect

Join me to visit the places where the icons of pop culture made London swing in the 1960s. You've bought the records, you've seen the films and you may have even danced like Jagger. Now, you can walk the walk.

From Carnaby Street, we'll be taking in the most FAB locations from London's coolest pop culture icons. Discover where the Beatles rocked on the roof top of Apple Corps and the house where Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and John & Yoko lived.

Check out the house where Jimi Hendrix saw Handel's ghost and the site of the great Peter Cook's Establishment Club, as well Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club where The Who first performed Tommy.

Last but not least, you'll visit the legendary Roundhouse in Chalk Farm. Something of specialist subject for me, as the chapter I wrote about it in my thesis was noted as a major contribution to art history. Still an active venue, it hosted on the same nights performance art by Yoko Ono, projections by Gustav Metzger and gigs by Pink Floyd, The Who, The Move and Jimi Hendrix. It is the only venue in the UK where The Doors performed.

As a special extra, we can also arrange for the tour to extend to Abbey Road Studios, where we can recreate your own Abbey Road album road crossing album cover!

Any other wishes? Just let me know!

Welcome to my profile! I am an cultural history storyteller, passionate about music, art, history and architecture.

I have lived in London for over a decade and when I first moved here it was to experience the wonderful depth of creative history and energy that our fair city has to offer.

I love to tell stories about the fascinating people and wonderful places that give London its unique fabric. As a storyteller through words, images and music, it is a great pleasure for me to meet new people and to share with them some of London's most exciting stories.

As Samuel Johnson once wrote: a man who is tired of London is tired of life.

On my tour you’ll see the best highlights and hidden gems. I’ll even show you significant points related to the Royal Family. I can customize the tour just for you."
