What you can expect

Get a private introduction to the unique culinary heritage of Bali. This half-day cooking class will be a great introduction to see how you make authentic Balinese dishes and learn about the local way of life.

Before the start of the cooking class we will take you to our traditional market where you will get a first hand introduction to some our traditional herbs and spices that are most commonly used in Balinese cooking.

Our next stop will be to the rice paddy field at Tengkulak Village before making our way home to make some of our traditional sticky rice pancake that we serve, while enjoying our freshly mixed welcome drink.

Then our highlight of the tour is the authentic Balinese cooking class set in a traditional Balinese compound. Last, but not least, we still spoil you with some activities before enjoying the food that you cook, we present A FRUIT CARVING PRESENTATION by hand on the spot.

"My name is Puspa, I graduated from The Tourism Academy on 1999 and then I spent 7 years for work on a big cruise ship line company called Louis Cruise Line and traveled all around the world.

I'm a Balinese woman which loves to share my knowledge about our Balinese traditional food and our traditional culture. For almost half day I'm ready to be your host, friend and your extended family. I'm happy to cheer up your day with my food!"
