What you can expect

Take your family to a fun and hands-on pasta cooking class where everyone will learn how to prepare traditional Italian pasta. Meet me at my place, I'll provide all the equipment and the chef hats but first a toast to start!

As a mother, I know exactly the right flavors that your little chefs will love and how to keep the learning procedure fun and interesting for them. My daughter Alice would be thrilled to participate with us and make some new international friends.

I'll teach you how to make at least two different kinds of fresh pasta, like tagliatelle or spaghetti alla chitarra, ravioli (stuffed pasta) and cavatelli. You get to pick which ones you would like to learn on this personalized cooking experience. I will show you all the techniques and secrets to make fresh pasta on your own. And in three hours, you will learn how to make it, how to cook it and how to choose the best sauce for each kind of pasta; some of the sauces you can make, depending on seasonality, are velvet pumpkin, or asparagus cream, or "alla norma”. In the end, you'll know how to create a local pasta dish that you and your family can make at home. A perfect way to remember the awesome time you had in Florence!
