What you can expect
Klang Gates Quartz Ridge stretches for about 14 km long, 50m wide and more than 400 metres high at certain stretches. It is also the longest quartz ridge in the world. During your private tour you will get the chance to hike this beautiful Quartz Ridge and get to see some spectacular views.
The ridge (Tabur East & West) is made up of four different types of quartz, home to indigenous wild goat the serow, and endemic flora found nowhere else in the world. It's an UNESCO-worthy world heritage site.
Second it's one of my favorite adventure hikes. Bukit Tabur(Tabur Hill) as the locals call it has been a local favorite hiking spot for regular and new hikers due to the easy access and natural richness nearby the city of Kuala Lumpur.
Walk along the trail, enjoy the breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur skyline on your left and the reservoir on your right where the ridge splits the natural and urban world.
Be warned that this tour is not suitable for you if you have phobia of heights, balance and a faint heart.
Duration of hike may vary due to one's fitness level. Please contact me for a personalized offer if you have any special requests.
Please book this hike 3-4 days in advance as a hiking permit is required to enter Bukit Tabur. It will take me a day or two to get the permit during office hours Mon-Fri.

"Thank you for reading my profile. My name is YF (in short) and I am a local guy residing in Kuala Lumpur (the capital of Malaysia) since I was born. I am now a private guide offering private tours of Kuala Lumpur and its surroundings.
Malaysia as you may or may not know is a multi-racial country and English is widely spoken. Malaysia is made up of West (penisular) and East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak on the island of Borneo). Food wise, you will find that our local food be it Chinese, Indian or Malay have a unique flavor/taste due to cultural influence. If you are looking for a city or nature tour when you are in Kuala Lumpur, I am glad you have found me. As one who loves the outdoors and going on hikes or running regularly just to keep myself fit, I am now ready to show my visitors/travelers like you the nature or the city as we locals take it for granted. It's due to this passion for outdoors that I have got myself certified as a green/nature guide with the local authority.
Ask me questions if the tour you are looking for is not listed here and I shall customize one for you. As much as I would like to share our sights and scenery, I would love to hear about your country.
Lastly, Selamat Datang (Welcome) to Malaysia."
