What you can expect

During this private experience in Valencia, your kids and family will not only discover the city but also their arty side too!

Valencia is full of surprises and I want to help you capture them! The old city center is an all-time favorite, not only by travelers but by its locals too! But did you know that even the popular neighborhood of El Carmen has hidden secrets? Just wander through the little alleys that seem to be forgotten and you’ll be surprised with what you’ll encounter. Stunning art waits around every corner. Some pieces will even reveal Valencia's rich history. And here is where your creative eye will be put to the test!

Your kids will be motivated to think about what art is and what makes a good picture. Bring your cameras, even your phone can work! - if there are more children than cameras, they can work together in pairs. They will get tips and guidelines about techniques, composition, and light. Besides that, they will be challenged with a photo treasure hunt, where they will have to keep their eyes open to find some of the famous Valencian graffiti-street art!

Your family photo tour will take you to Torres de Quarts, where you will discover the rough edges of El Carmen and Extramurs, learning everything about street art while wandering towards the lively center. Stop by a lively food market and be amazed by all the food stalls there. Visit other important spots in the city like Torres de Serranos and Palau de la Generalitat. I will tell you the history behind every place you'll visit. At the impressive Plaza de la Virgen we will make a polaroid picture in front of the beautiful fountain.

Of course, the highlights of the old town won't be missed! I'll be happy to also give you family friendly recommendations for the best foods and drinks in the area.

Finish your fun private experience at Plaza de la Reina where we will have some delicious turron ice cream. Of course we take a look at the most beautiful pictures of the day. This is a unique way to remember your family trip to Valencia, with timeless memories in the form of pictures!

Any requests or questions? Let me know and I will take care of everything with a personalized tour, for you and your family.

I moved from Nijmegen (the Netherlands) to Valencia because of love. This city surprised me in so many ways. It is a lovely city to live in.

I am a psychologist and a teacher of Dutch. I am broadly interested and I am happy to share my passions and amazement. As a tour guide, I like interaction, this makes a tour more personal and fun."
