What you can expect
This full day tour will show you everything from the Balinese culture, interesting architecture and the local way of life.
On this private tour we will see the great battle story through dance, the Barong dance. This is the story of the battle between good and evil. The Barong comes in many form, the most popular is the a baroque style Chinese lion with big eyes and clacking jaws.
The most interesting part is at the end which you will definitely not want to miss.
We will also visit the Art villages of Celuk, Batuan and the Mas village. At the centres in each village you will get to see how the locals make their craft and products which are also being internationally exported.
Following this we will visit the Batuan Temple dating back to the 10th century. You will get the chance to see see the story of Ramayana and Mahabharata along the temple wall. Next we will see visit a monkey conservation center where there are over 500 sacred but friendly monkeys. The locals believe that they guard the Pura Dalem Temple that’s located inside the forest.
After the first half of the tour we will stop for lunch in Ubdu. After our lunch we will visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace which is a magnificent rice paddy view. The current and previous farmers needed hundreds of years to build this stunning rice paddy terrace. The green tropical vegetation along the river bringing a breeze air, a perfect escape from the busy life of the city.
We will end the tour at a coffee and spice plantation. Here you can taste the most expensive coffee of the world. The Bali Pulina Coffee Plantation is not just a plantation, it is a blend of coffee shop and beautiful view of the nature. A place to learn and witness how the farmer making the great coffee.
