What you can expect

Hello! I am Thia, an adventurous local storyteller who loves arts, meeting new people and seeing Hong Kong through my journal. And on this private tour, I want to take you on a tram adventure with storytelling and creativity on every stop.

Trams, also affectionately known as "Ding Ding", are the oldest form of transportation in Hong Kong. Not only are they photogenic but traveling on them gives you an illusion of going back in time. Join me and let's hop off and on the tram to discover Hong Kong's sights vividly colored with unique traditions, colonial hues, futuristic buildings and busy crowds.

I take it as my mission to show you the beauty found only in Hong Kong through sharing offbeat stories, interactive artsy activities, and unconventional routes.

It doesn't matter if you know how to sketch or journal, I'm happy to show you some simple but fun techniques you can apply to make your journal artsy and special. I can also teach you how to do some simple sketches and lettering. And don't you worry, I'll have the materials and supplies ready for you.

If you love learning interesting stories, exploring hidden treasures and journaling, you mustn't miss this tour where you get to do all of these things on (and off) a tram!

This is a 100% private and personal 4-hour tour that can be tailored to your needs. On top of taking care of your tram fares, I will provide you a beautiful cloth-bound notebook, custom-made with your name on it for you to sketch on and bring home with. I will also provide basic art supplies and some special craft materials (such as cute ink pads and washi tapes!) for you to journal with.

Any kids joining? This experience is family-friendly since it doesn't require a lot walking and aims to immerse everyone in Hong Kong's history and cultures through fun stories and artsy activities.

TIP: get a special souvenir by simply messaging me *before* requesting to book! This way I'll be able to provide a better and more personalized experience for you.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Thia has a heart for arts and adventures. She sings, draws, makes crafts and eats a lot (probably too much).

She enjoys exploring the world, having been to places such as Tanzania, Mexico, the Balkans, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, etc. Traveling means making new friends and experiencing new culture to Thia and she can't wait to welcome you to her hometown.

Traveling with Thia will be an adventure - she will take you to visit (and taste!) the hidden gems, tell you a lot of stories (which might not even be known among many locals!) and artistically explore the beauty of Hong Kong. Being a natural planner who loves traveling meeting new people, she knows how to make your trip to Hong Kong a memorable one:)"
