"I wanted to find a unique Canal cruise for adults. We were going on a Canal cruise during the day as an excursion from our cruise ship, and wanted to have something more unique to do on our own before we boarded the ship. My concerns were it had been inclement weather and cold. We needed a boat that was small, intimate, covered, and heated.jannah offered all this and then some! She purchased red wine for us to have during the evening, cruise and supply glasses. She was very knowledgable and answered all of her questions, and took us on a great cruise to see the lights of Amsterdam during the night. We went off the beaten track and saw some great” behind the scenes” areas. The highlight was having a private to her to ourselves, intimate was blowing, a covered boat to protect us from the rain, and potentially heat in case it was cold. I would highly recommend Beer and Jannah. "

"We had a great 2 hour cruise around Amsterdam's canals with Beer. We set out mid-morning on a Saturday. The boat was comfortable and roomy. You could sit at the stern and enjoy the cool fall air, or sit inside the heated cabin and avoid the chill. The boat - like all boats on the canals, Beer told us - was all electric so was quiet and smooth. Beer covered lots of local history, pointed out architecture and specific buildings, and we all came away knowing much more about the city. At the end he even dropped us off near a cafe we had booked for lunch. Overall a great experience for the four of us I would recommend to anyone visiting."

"The best tour I have been on. We were shown things that were not in any guide books or on the Web, and the knowledge Elise had was excellent. We saw the side of Amsterdam I would never had known was there. Free ferry rides we never knew about so you could travel to 3 different areas at no cost. A great tour ending at the old ship yards with the best graffiti we had ever seen, and all allowed. Great area to see Thank you Elise for making our holiday memories that will last a life time. "

"Laura Marie took my husband and me on a tour of Amsterdam focusing on the experience of the people of Amsterdam, particularly the Jewish people, in WW2. She was so knowledgeable and had so much information to share. She generously shared some of her family’s experience during the war which gave her a unique perspective. Although it is never upbeat to discuss war and Laura Maria shared stories of resistance and bravery as well as the horrors of the Holocaust and its aftermath. The visit to Holocaust Memorial/former theater turned deportation center for Jews was particularly informative. The actual film and recorded first hand accounts of people who were there and survived was fascinating. I had so many questions- Laura Maria answered them all in a way that was comprehensive and easy to understand. She was so warm and engaging. I highly recommend touring with her."
