"We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide in Amsterdam. She's a local with an infectious warmth that made our whole group — including our 12-year-old — feel instantly at ease. What really set her apart was how she brought the city's history to life. Rather than rattling off facts, she told us the stories behind the historical sites in a way that actually explained why Amsterdam looks and feels the way it does today. It gave us a completely different appreciation for the city. As someone who dreads overly touristy experiences, I especially appreciated that she steered us toward local bakeries and hidden gems, keeping us well away from the tourist traps. Her recommendations felt genuine and personal. She's also a fantastic listener — she noticed what our group was interested in and tailored the experience accordingly. My kid felt comfortable enough to ask questions throughout, which says a lot about the kind of environment she creates. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants to truly understand Amsterdam, not just see it."

"Five stars across the board! Jan was an exceptional guide during our visit to Amsterdam. He picked us up right from our hotel and spent the day driving us around in his private car, which was spotlessly clean and comfortable — a real treat compared to crowded tour buses. We visited Keukenhof, where the tulips were just starting to bloom, and then drove through several small towns where Jan explained how the Dutch reclaimed land from the sea — fascinating stuff. We also made it out to the windmills at Zaanse Schans, just outside Amsterdam. Throughout the day, Jan never rushed us and kept everything perfectly on schedule without it ever feeling rigid. What really set him apart were the little extras — recommendations on what to see and do when we were exploring on our own, the kind of local knowledge you just can't get from a guidebook. On top of that, we booked on short notice and he rearranged his schedule to fit us in without hesitation. We'll absolutely be booking with Jan again on our next trip to Amsterdam. Highly recommended!"

"My family (husband & sons aged 17 & 19) and I spent a fabulous few hours with Tommi last week touring the hidden gems of Amsterdam. We specified our interests as unique aspects of history, architecture & culture and were not disappointed. Highly recommend as an efficient and enjoyable way to gain an alternate view of the city, beyond the usual tourist sites. We covered a lot of ground walking and via train/ tram, and ventured to parts of the city we would otherwise not thought to have seen. My sons and husband - a relatively tough crowd - were thoroughly engrossed and we all came away having learned something new and interesting. Tommi is extremely enthusiastic and passionate about his city, which made our tour extremely worthwhile. Highly recommend! Note: The cost of transport tickets and lunch is on top of the ticket price which we hadn’t really thought about but didn’t bother us (mentioning as may concern some). "
