We did really like the conversations in the car and the explanations during the tour. The coconut farm and traditional Thai house we visited on the way to the floating market was also very interesting. We enjoyed the long tail boat ride along canals to the floating market and saw several monitor lizards. The floating market itself didn’t have as many boats selling produce as I remember from many years ago, most of the stalls were on land and selling quite touristy stuff but a fun experience nonetheless. "rungthipmeaw is a breath of fresh air and an absolute sweetheart to do the floating markets and train tour with. She not only knows back ways but knows all about the area that you are going because she grew up from that area and knows everything about it! Just note that it is a very busy tourist area and during high tourist season it will be very busy but she will get you through no matter what in a unconventional fun way so you can experience everything in a more local and uncumbersome way and timeframe. The salt fields, shrimp farms, coconut farms the train ride in. I cannot say a good enough things about rungthipmeaw and her tours to the floating markets. I hope to see her again on my next trip there!!"

"Fantastische Tour mit Donald – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir waren zu fünft mit zwei Kindern (5 und 8 Jahre) mit Donald unterwegs und haben mit ihm den Maeklong Railway Market und die schwimmenden Märkte besucht. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Reiseleiter wünschen können! 😊 Die Chemie hat von Anfang an gestimmt – auch unsere Kinder mochten Donald sofort, was bei ihnen nicht immer der Fall ist. Die Tour war perfekt organisiert, und gleichzeitig ist Donald jederzeit auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Besonders toll fanden wir, wie herzlich und geduldig er mit unseren Kindern war. Wir haben uns während der gesamten Tour rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten Bangkok und die Märkte ganz entspannt genießen. Donald spricht außerdem sehr gut Deutsch, was die Kommunikation besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Wir würden jederzeit wieder eine Tour mit Donald buchen und können ihn wirklich jedem empfehlen, der Bangkok besucht! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I had the opportunity on 1 May 26 to visit the Damnoen Saduck floating market and the Maeklong Railway market with the guide, Nok. Our journey there was lengthy, due to traffic. But it afforded Nok and I with plenty of time to get acquainted with each other, and for me to ask questions of her about what I would be seeing and experiencing. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and informative, and we had a delightful conversation. At both locations, it was clear to me that she was well versed in the settings, frequently anticipating things to point out to me along the way. This included even picking an excellent place for lunch after our journey through the floating market, which offered both excellent food and views of activity along the canals. As the afternoon heat built during our time at the railway market and on the train journey, she knew places to relax and cool off, as well as the best places to be seated on the train for breeze through the open windows and for views. She was always very responsive to questions I had about what I was seeing. And helpful to me in selecting the right vendors to make the purchases I'd told her I was interested in. I highly recommend both this particular tour, and a choice of Nok as guide!"
