"Dee was a great tour guide. I had seen many of the regular tourist areas, so she planned an itinerary for my half day car tour that would take me to many of the neighborhoods in Singapore. We toured four neighborhoods, one solely by car, and three others on foot. Dee pointed out architectural features and gave information about the history and ethnic makeup of the city. We saw the Grand Mosque and Paranakan houses with some special treats along the way. It was a fantastic tour (and I appreciated the air conditioned car to take respite in from time to time). It was a fantastic tour, and I'm so glad I got to see so much of Singapore from someone ready to answer many questions about the people and cultures. "

"I found Withlocals online and took a chance that it might work out. I was rewarded. Our guide, KK Ang, was awesome. He took us on a historical journey from the early days of the area and explained how and why Singapore is what it is today. The places we saw were tremendous and we had ample time in each location. KK took us to several different religious sites, the CBD, waterfront and other areas of interest. These were fascinating and showed how diverse and tolerant Singapore is. A snack at the Hawkers Market was a real treat. If you like street food, this is the place to be! The tour ended with a view from 50 stories up overlooking it all. KK was in contact with us from the moment we booked and he took pains to let us know what we would be seeing. The tour also started from where we disembarked from our cruise and this seems to be something that is commonly done from many starting points. If you have limited time, this is a fabulous way to see the city. We would never have been able to do what we did and see the sights on our own."
