We a pastry breakfast in Aviero, hiked in an old curated palace forest, visited the famous Joanina library in Coimbra, dined on suckling pig in Meahlda and ate ice cream by the iconic striped houses on the Atlantic. Gustavo gets extra points for doing all of this running around on a Portugal World Cup game day. He also answered all of our many history questions on the ride. We appreciated his deep knowledge. The only thing I would change is perhaps a van for a day trip. We were a bit squished in his car but still a great day! "
