"Shafaq was a fantastic tour guide! She was very knowledgeable on the history of Bergen and brought me to several great sites. She pointed out some “must try” restaurants and even took me to the local fish market. We continued our walking tour to the main Square and shopping mall, where she treated me to a local cinnamon bun and cappuccino, it was absolutely delicious! Afterwards, we took a ride up to the top of one of the Bergen Mountains, where we had a beautiful view of the entire city. A perfect day in Bergen with a most enjoyable guide!"

"We had a very sociable and informative stroll round Bergen with Shafaq - bits of history, interesting suggestions for museums, directions regarding shopping, photo hotspots, food recommendations (and I’d say wait until you’ve spoken to Shafaq before you book dinner as I think she may have the best knowledge for every type of food!!). We certainly discovered places we wouldn’t necessarily have been to ourselves and followed up some of her ideas for the rest of our time in Bergen. "It was our first time to Bergen (and Norway for that matter). Shafaq met us for a 3 hour private tour or Bergen city highlights, which was a perfect way for us to get acquainted with the city that we would be spending the next several days. She was great at telling us the history of various locations we visited, and she was a great personal photographer! But I would say the best part what that she gave us lots of great suggestions as to what to do the next several days on our own, including where to buy tickets, restaurants to try, etc. As we spent our remaining days we kept saying to each other \"Shafaq said to go here... Shafaq said to eat here...\". The advantage of hiring a private guide!!"

"We had an amazing late afternoon with Michal taking us around Bergen tasting food at 10 of his favorite spots! Starting and finishing off with some special Norwegian treats that Michael brought along added a special touch to our experience. It was as if we were touring the town with an old friend. The cuisine options were carefully picked and the food selections were delicious! Make sure not to eat before you go; it was like a 10 course omakase experience!!! "

Despite being a recent immigrant to Norway/Bergen, Shafaq was extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of Bergen and Norway.
