"Wow! Our group had the most amazing food tour of Marrakech with Mohamed! This was the end of our trip to Morocco and it was the food highlight for us! Mohamed took the time to ask what we had already eaten, so that our food tastings were either new to us or the best versions of a food we had already tried. Plenty of food too - he had to remind us that we had more to go and shouldn’t finish every dish! Several of our group were tired (this was our last night) but everyone was sooo glad they went! A few standouts - lentil salad with ras el hanout, rfissa (this was the best version we had in Morocco), pumpkin tangine with quail eggs, raib (my fav), Moroccan sandwich (my husband’s fav), and fekkas, If you’re a foodie, choose Mohamed. "

"On my first trip to Morocco and Marrakesh I booked a food tour with Ouidad, because as a solo female traveler, I wanted to taste as much of the local cuisines as possible and get exposed to things I might not discover on my own. "We had a great night with Lhoussaine and Yusef experiencing the secret alley ways and food stalls in amongst the souks to taste some fabulous food and learn about Moroccans love of food and eating custom. My two boys of 9 and 13 initially nervous, grew in confidence with each tasting, claiming they had found new favourites at every stop. A really nice night that we are still talking about the next day. "

"Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5hour Food Tour through the Medina with Omar. Omar is fluent in English and was a good conversationalist. While we already had a Hidden Gems tour with another guide, we still asked Omar many questions about life in Marrakech, the medina and souks, and his knowledge and perspective were fantastic. He took us to 5 food stops on the tour. #1 traditional yogurt with pastries – delicious #2 grilled lamb and meatballs with a lamb and vegetable tagine as well as a meat and egg sandwich – our absolute favorite!! (We would have gone back the next day for more if we didn’t have to fly that evening) #3 tea and spices – we purchased a spice that had 34 flavors in it for grilling and baking #4 butcher who served a tasty meat sandwich #5 olives – we tasted 4 types and they were a hit. Omar takes you through a leisurely stroll of the medina and souks and introduced us to some remarkable vendors who showed us how they made shoes, poofs and also dyed wool/cotton for rugs. We absolutely recommend this tour!"

"We came during Ramadan and there needed to be some changes, but they were great about changing what they could. The stops were interesting and delicious and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. "

"We had a wonderful food tour around the Medina with Lhoussaine and Hassan. We tried many different types of Moroccan street food and learned about the local culture and history. It was a first food tour for my two kids (aged 10 and 7), who immediately took to Hassan. He had a great rapport with them both and we spent the evening chatting and laughing. I felt really confident going around the Medina with our tour guides - Hassan seemed to know everyone and it turned what could be quite an overwhelming experience into something fun and accessible. "We loved our time with Aimad who took us around to taste many local foods in the Medina. Aimad speaks very well English and is a very nice man to discuss with. We talked about everything from religion and football to food. Our teenage son enjoyed the tour also very much. Aimad is attentive and stayed with us all the time during our tastings in comparison to a previous experience.
