"We were met outside our hotel by Virginia , who was delightful . She is very knowledgeable of her city , its history , food and wine, art and architecture. She started off by taking us over the Roman Bridge and up to the top of the hill on the other side . Fabulous views . Then we went round all major sites. A great afternoon out with a knowledgeable and friendly local as advertised ! "

"There were 6 of us on the tour with Frank. We’re all gardeners, and Frank made a point of showing us interesting plants, such as the oldest Plane tree in Italy. He gave us a ton of information about the history of the area, making it fun for us by giving us “points” for remembering important facts. He checked often that we were absorbing what he told us and would say things in different ways to make sure we got it. He had several visual aids (maps, old photos, etc) that helped bring history alive. Thoroughly enjoyable and valuable 3 hours!"

"Francesco (Frenk !) is the perfect guide! He is very flexible, we had booked the day before another tour, the guides have coordinated with each other, put together an individual tour and so we had with Frenk! the perfect complement. Besides his versatile knowledge he is very entertaining, we laughed a lot! On the way he pointed out to us very many hidden details, away from the guidebooks. In a prepared folder he showed us in between pictures from the past of the city, so that we were also allowed to travel into the past. Even after the tour, he sent us information about what else we can do in Verona, because the weather changed and we were looking for indoor alternatives.
