Roberto is an excellent communicator. He was available from the time we booked. He helped me navigate how to purchase train tickets, provided the link to purchase advance tickets for Pompeii, and even arranged for a private driver to pick us up from the train station. Our train was delayed an hour and both Roberto and our driver were very understanding and accommodating.
The tour was fantastic. Walking through Pompeii with an archaeologist was an exceptional experience. Having worked on the site himself, he is a wealth of interesting information. I especially appreciated how patient and engaging he was with our 9 year old twin boys. I am sure we would not have had such a great experience in Pompeii without him. Everyone in our party agreed that Roberto made it a very special day!"

"If you would like an enjoyable and knowledgeable guide through Pompeii, I highly recommend Roberto. He is a weath of knowledge about the entire area and the site! Weeks before our arrival he guided us on our journey from Rome to Pompeii with the purchase of our train tickets, once we were in Pompeii, he met us at the train station and showed us local places of interest and places to grab a bite along the way. Once we arrived at the site he filled us in on the history and was full of information from ancient times, until modern day and the continuation of the excavation. Such a wonderful guide."

Pompei throught the back door
"Roberto is not a \"funny\" guide sharing inside jokes on a location. Roberto is a proffesional archeologist, who loves to share his passion for history with others. We have taken a day trip from Rome to visit Pompei. Roberto has been a great communicator all through your our planning process. Roberto comes originally from the Naples area so we felt like true locals along his side. Pompei is a very special place and I cannot imagine visiting it with a franchise. There was no rushing, we could take our time to wonder around ask any questions."
