"My sister and I spent 2.5 hours with Sara, more or less, learning about the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall. She was punctual, amiable, and incredibly prepared. We were astounded at the effort put into planning her wonderful tour, from her carefully curated binder of printed historical maps and photographs for reference, to the way she seemed to deftly personalise our initial (and much-needed) contextual history lesson, making the entire experience feel bespoke. "Claudia is fantastic! Not only did she come to the hotel and picked us up for the tour ‘Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall’, but included Checkpoint Charlie as well. It was a very hot day but she kept us on point, took us by Ubahb and Sbagn where necessary and gave us a very good understanding of how it was for 30 years. The account was even more poignant given she was from East Germany. She even showed us Haus Shwartzen Museum which was fascinating (have to come back to explore the museum) and a peek into Hackescher Hof. He presented the history and tragedy of the Berlin Wall in such a lively, engaging, and interesting way that it was never boring for a moment. What impressed us most was Juan’s empathy and his ability to explain this difficult and emotional chapter of history in a way that was also perfectly understandable for our children, aged 9 and 13. It was amazing to see how much they remembered from Juan’s explanations afterwards.
