"Jhoan’s tour was so thoughtfully put together. We enjoyed everything from fresh juices & fruits, to street meat and arepas. I’m vegetarian enjoyed so, so much delicious food that I wouldn’t have tracked down on my own. The variety of establishments is wide and he mixes in general Medellín history, too. He is born and raised in Medellin and draws much of his experience living through the turbulent years as he explains the history of Comuna 13 through art. The Comuna itself has transformed into a very touristy area, lined with sidewalk sellers. The area is unlike any place I’ve seen before and worth the time to explore. "
